The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, January 13 reveals Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will tell Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) he wants to stop the madness.
Also coming up, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will call out Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Plus, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will worry as Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) do damage control. And Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) wants to celebrate Victor’s downfall with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Y&R spoilers tease Sally will watch as Billy raises a glass of whiskey to Victor going down in flames. She’ll walk towards him and ask if he’s drinking again. Billy will say he just needed to take the edge off. “What is going on?” she’ll ask.
Billy will tell her Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Cane’s elaborate plan just got to him. “Everything’s fine, you’re fine, I’m fine,” he’ll add. “Can we move on please?” Billy will admit he talked to Jack earlier and Sally will tell him she heard him say he was jealous.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Diane Never Thought She’d Root For Phyllis
“I’m upset because you looked me in the eye and you lied to me,” she’ll add. Sally will remind him she almost walked out on him because of his lies. Billy will say there’s nothing wrong with him being happy Victor’s going down.
But Sally will tell him that’s not what it’s about. “This is about all of the uncomfortable conversations you refuse to have with me,” she’ll say. “I think you have an obsession problem and it doesn’t take much to pull you back in.” Then Billy will gaslight Sally, apologize and they’ll kiss.
Meanwhile, Diane will question Jack about what happened when he showed up at the ranch with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) in tow. Jack will say Victor got a text and he was staring at his phone like it was a bomb. “I’m not saying the threat is over but I’m telling you Victor is scared,” he’ll add. “Whatever went down, Victor did not see it coming.”
Diane will say she wishes she could have been there. Jack will tell her Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) saw Victoria heading to the house as they were leaving. So, he’ll surmise Victor called a family meeting. And he’ll tell her about Billy’s phone call and how Phyllis and Cane are going after Victor.
“I never thought I’d utter this sentence in my lifetime but yay Phyllis,” Diane will reply. “It’s sort of delicious, Victor being brought down by his own evil plan.” She’ll suggest they open some champagne but Jack won’t want to celebrate just yet.
At the ranch, Adam and Victoria will make phone calls trying to mitigate the damage to Newman. Nikki will ask Victor who is doing this to them. He’ll say he’s trying to find out but he suspects Phyllis. “Or Cane Ashby put something in the software from the beginning.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Phyllis And Cane Toast To Their Success
Nikki will ask what their options are. Victor will tell her it’ll all come down to negotiating. “Everyone has a price, I promise you we will not lose the company.” Victoria and Adam will come in and say they’re doing everything they can. “I’ve never seen anything like this,” Victoria will add.
“Your father has, haven’t you?” Nikki will say, turning to Victor. “You know exactly how this will end.” Victoria will say one of their divisions is gone. It’s been completely wiped out. “All right Cane Ashby,” Victor will say, getting up. “This ends right now.”
In Cane’s choo choo train, Phyllis will fantasize about Victor handing her a large gold key to Newman Enterprises. “You are the true genius in this town,” he’ll say. Nikki will tell Phyllis that she’s the true heir to Katherine’s legacy.
A shirtless Cane will walk in with a bottle of champagne. “This is more than I dreamed, more than I imagined,” Phyllis will tell him, as they toast to their success. She’ll get a text from Victor. “Could he already know this has happened?” she’ll say to Cane. He’ll say they should let Victor stew.
Then Cane’s phone will ring. It’s Victor, of course, and he won’t pick up. Cane will get a little moody and tell Phyllis he’s worried about Billy. “I saw sadness in his eyes.” Phyllis will say she Billy’s only friend for years, but he screwed her over.
Finally, they’ll agree to disagree and decide to head to the ranch. Phyllis will hop in the shower and Cane will call Billy, asking if they can meet in the morning. Once Phyllis is out of the shower they’ll get ready to go. However, they won’t get the chance, because Victor will show up.
“Well, look at this, I thought I’d find the two of you here,” he’ll say to the couple. “So Cane, what will it take to end this madness?” But will Cane be willing to negotiate, or will he tell Victor it’s over and he’s won?
